Fira de Barcelona is one of the most important trade fairs in Europe. Located just 450 yards from the apartments, it has a total of 99 acres of exhibition space that each year host congresses and exhibitions of the main economic industries.

Plaça d’Espanya

Built during the International Exposition of 1929, Plaça d’Espanya is one of the most emblematic spots in Barcelona. Many of the city’s main streets converge here, such as Gran Via or Avinguda Paral·lel. Next to it are the so-called “Venetian Towers” by Ramón Reventós and the Les Arenes shopping centre, a Mudejar-style building that used to be a bullring. Plaça d’Espanya is a 5-minute walk from the apartments.

Montjuïc Castle

This old military fortress, located on the Mountain of Montjuïc, 567 feet above sea level, is closely attached to the history of Barcelona. It currently holds a culture centre and from there you can enjoy stunning views over the city. It is located 1.7 miles from the apartments.

The Magic Fountain of Montjuïc

Located just 300 yards from the apartments, the Magic Fountain of Montjuïc is made up by 3 concentric ponds and a number of waterfalls that go from Plaça d’Espanya to the Palau Nacional. Built for the 1929 International Exposition by Carles Buïgas, the Magic Fountain of Montjuïc offers an amazing show of water, light and sound.

Sagrada Familia

The Sagrada Familia is the masterpiece of Catalan architect Antoni Gaudí. Even though it is still not finished, it is one of the most visited monuments in Spain and the main symbol of Catalan modernism. Without doubt, a must see. It is 2.9 miles away from the apartments.

Park Güell

This famous public park was designed back in the day to become a luxurious residential area. Today, it is a great place to enjoy a nice walk and admire the fusion of nature and sculptural elements conceived also by the great mind of Catalan architect Antoni Gaudí.
